... We have opened the lines to talk about Ferragosto!

In Australia today is a Thursday 15 August, but in Italy is Ferragosto, the biggest summer holiday of the year. All those who can (almost everyone), leave the city (and job) to escape to a relaxing spot (if you can find it) under beach umbrella - or in the countryside or in the mountains - under a tree. Factories are closed, shops prefer to display the sign "closed for holidays". Restaurants do the same.

But how do Italians who live in Australia celebrate Ferragosto? This exactly what this morning we asked our listeners.
