Labor will govern Western Australia after what has been described as a landslide victory for the party in Saturday's state election. Premier-elect Mark McGowan will have around 40 MPs in the 59-seat parliament and a swing of around 16% against the Liberals appears to have virtually halved its representation in the lower house.
