Australian conductor Daniel Smith will make his long-awaited home debut conducting Gioachino Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims for Opera Australia in Melbourne and Sydney in 2019.

Maestro Smith has recently conducted Rossini's masterpiece at the prestigious Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
