Saturday at 7.30pm on SBS Food - Cook Like an Italian with Silvia Colloca

While Silvia loves tradition in the kitchen, she shares a few new tricks and hacks that Italians have learned to embrace. From a one-pot tuna pasta method even Silvia thought was too good to be true, to a no-knead method of baking sensational bread, and finally the easiest pasta dish Silvia has ever made.

Saturday at 8.30pm on SBS Food - Rhodes Across Italy

Gary Rhodes visits one of Italy's most popular regions - Tuscany - to discover the secrets of its cuisine. Gary and chef Sandra Lotti are in the Tuscan hills to cook classic Italian dishes - chicken cacciatore, zucchini frittata, and tordelli. Gary spends time in the beautiful city of Florence to sample the meats of San Lorenzo Market and visit an extraordinary dining club and its larger than life owner and chef, Fabio Picchi.

Sunday at 8.30pm on Viceland - Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier

The crew of the Federation starship Enterprise is called to Nimbus III, the Planet of Intergalactic Peace. They are to negotiate in a case of kidnapping only to find out that the kidnapper is a relative of Spock. This man is possessed by his life long search for the planet Shaka-Ri which is supposed to be the source of all life. Together they begin to search for this mysterious planet.

Tuesday at 7.30 on World Movies - Far And Away 

Academy Award-nominee Tom Cruise stars as a poor Irishman in love with a wealthy woman, played by Academy Award-winner Nicole Kidman. When they take their class-crossed relationship to turn-of-the-century America, they begin an unforgettable adventure across the west. Directed by Academy Award-winner Ron Howard.

Tuesday at 8.00pm on SBS Food - Made In Italy With Silvia Colloca

Silvia Colloca travels to Macerata in Le Marche where she receives lesson in an Italian peasant tradition - Vincisgrassi (lasagne, Marche style). Heading south to Castelbottaccio in Molise, Silvia and her mother embark on a quest to find a long lost recipe - pesche di Castelbottaccio (sponge cake peaches). Next up is a nostalgic trip to Abruzzo, a land Silvia holds close to her heart where she reminisces on cherished childhood memories and visits one of her dearest childhood friends. Together they create a spring classic - lamb chops with asparagus. Then heading home to Torricella Silvia puts her bread baking skills to the test and whips up a party favourite - bread pockets with cheese and stewed capsicum.

Thursday at 9.00pm on SBS Food - Gino's Italian Escape: Hidden Italy 

Gino is in Umbria - known as the green heart of Italy. It's fertile plains provides vegetables, grains, truffles and meat. Home to St Francis of Assisi, it is a region blessed with many pretty towns, and Gino is starting in Spoleto. Not far from here is a small working farm which produces Umbrian lentils. The same family have been working this land for over a quarter of a century. Moving through the region Gino ends up in Norcia, which is the food capital of the region. The name of of Norcia is synonymous with meat and the skilful cutting of it. But Gino also discovers a place to indulge his sweet tooth as he treats himself with a taste of the sweet stuff. He ends up in the stunning man made Marmore waterfalls, where he whips up a feast inspired by his food Odyssey.
