Melbourne has spent its first night under coronavirus curfew, with more measures set to be announced today (Monday).
The Victorian government is expected to announce today a three-tiered system of workplaces during so-called stage four restrictions, which will last until the 13th of September.
One tier of businesses will be allowed to operate as normal, the second at reduced capacity, and the third will have shut down completely.
Melburnians must now stick to within five kilometres of their home, and only one person per household is allowed out once per day to buy things like groceries.
Going outside to exercise is limited to one hour per day.

Premier Daniel Andrews says there are 760 unknown cases where the source of the infection can't be traced which has prompted the rule changes.
Those mysteries that community transmission is in many respects our biggest challenge and the reason why we need to move to a different set of rules. If you've got that many cases and they are not just in metropolitan Melbourne, they are in fact in regional Victoria as well, if you've got that many cases of community transmission then you must assume there are more.
The new rules are being endorsed by the federal government and will stay in place at least until 13 September.
