Determined to live down his family's reputation, Dr Frederick Frankenstein insists on pronouncing his name 'Fronckensteen' and denies interest in replicating his grandfather's experiments. However, when he's lured by Frau Blucher to discover the tantalisingly-titled journal 'How I Did It' in his grandfather's castle, he can't resist. With the help of voluptuous Inga, wall-eyed assistant Igor and a purloined brain, Frankenstein creates his monster.

Hosted by Eurovisionaries music buff Myf Warhurst and comedian Joel Creasey, this must-see TV event will feature special guest appearances from big names across the globe and an exclusive studio performance from our very own Montaigne, giving audiences the first look at the performance she would have unveiled in Rotterdam next month. 

Saturday at 9.30pm on SBS Food - Two Greedy Italians

Chefs Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo tour Italy to discover how their home country's culture has changed since they left more than 40 years ago, and how this has affected the way the population eats. Beginning in Emilia Romagna, the home of prosciutto and parmesan cheese, the pair have Sunday lunch with a traditional family, before meeting a group of career women in Bologna who do not cook at home any more.

Hosted by Dutch Eurovision presenters Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit, Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light will honour all 41 songs in a non-competitive format and provide plenty of surprises for fans at home.

Sunday at 8.30pm on World Movies - The Thin Red Line

In 1942, Private Witt is a U.S. Army absconder living peacefully with the locals of a small South Pacific island. Discovered by his commanding officer, Sergeant Welsh, Witt is forced to resume his active duty training for the Battle of Guadalcanal. As Witt and his unit land on the island, and the American troops mount an assault on entrenched Japanese positions, the story explores their various fates and attitudes towards life-or-death situations. Starring Jim Caviezel, Sean Penn, George Clooney, Nick Nolte, and Adrien Brody.

Gino D’Acampo’s final leg of his Italian escape takes place in the fascinating city of Bologna - the city seen as Italy’s gastronomic capital. Gino is always on the lookout for incredible dishes, so he can’t come to the city of Bologna without investigating its world-famous sauce - Bolognese.He makes his way to an unassuming trattoria to find a formidable Italian chef, who has been honing her Bolognese sauce recipe for almost thirty years. After Gino devours her stunning sauce mixed with hand-made tagliatelle, he heads up to the rooftops of Bologna to get cooking. With the splendid towers of the city as a backdrop, Gino makes his grandfather’s recipe of tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and lets us into some of the D’Acampo family’s secret sauce tips.

Wednesday at 7.30pm on SBS Food - Sicily With Aldo And Enzo

Monreale, sits high up in the mountains overlooking Palermo and, being sufficiently far enough from the sea, it depends on its meat trade. The pretty and bustling town boasts a thriving collection of well stocked butchers, one of which provides Aldo and Enzo with the lamb cutlets needed for their dish of Sicilian-style lamb. But, before they set up kitchen in the town square, Enzo and Aldo, each have a very close shave.

Young students at a Tibetan monastery try to raise money to rent a satellite dish to watch the 1998 France vs. Brazil soccer final.

Wednesday at 9.00pm on SBS Food - Italian Food Safari

Guy hunts rabbit with chef Daniel Airo-Farula, while Maeve visits Stefano Manfredi on the Central Coast where he has planted a vegetable garden full of Italian produce ready for a classic minestrone. In Melbourne, Adelina Pulford shows Guy how to make the silkiest creamy panna cotta with prosecco, while Italian expatriate Aldo Cozzi and his coffee roaster George Sabados explain the rules of enjoying good Italian coffee.

Wednesday at 9.45pm on World Movies - The Motorcycle Diaries

A highly inspiring, entertaining adventure based on the journals of Ernesto 'Che' Guevara as he journeys by motorcycle through South America in 1952 with his best friend, Alberto. Nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes International Film Festival. Directed by Walter Salles and stars Gael García Bernal, Rodrigo De la Serna and Mercedes Morán.
