Federation Square is not only Melbourne's main square but also one of its most recognisable sites. Attilio Terragni is one of the architects who 20 years ago won the competition to plan the square, which now hosts among others our SBS studios. Attilio Terragni is in Melbourne for the opening of the exhibition "A Modernity Different From All Others: Giuseppe Terragni in Rome", dedicated to his great uncle, Giuseppe Terragni: born in Meda in 1904 and died in Como in 1943, he is considered the most famous representative of Italian rationalism.
