Paolo Venturini does it again

3954_paolo-venturini.jpg

Italian extreme athlete, Paolo Venturini, was chosen by the publishing house of Lonely Planet travel guides as a testimonial to its new guide to Australia and in particular the chapter on the Explorers Way, a 3000-km route that joins Adelaide in South Australia to Darwin in the Northern Territory. The 46 year-old was the first Italian - and one of the few people in the world - to have covered the 3000 k's... on a bicycle. Paolo Venturini, who is a police officer, is not new to this kind of exploits.
