World renowned Italian conductor Pier Giorgio Morandi has made his Australian debut with the Opera Australia's orchestra in Verdi's Aida at the Sydney Opera House.
After studying with acclaimed conductors Leonard Bernstein and Riccardo Muti, maestro Morandi is a most sought after conductor of "traditional" opera in the world.
