Soprano Raina Kabaivanska is one of the greatest opera voices of the 20th century. Over a 55 years career that started in 1959 at La Scala, she has worked alongside opera legends such as Maria Callas, Dame Joan Sutherland, Tito Gobbi, Mario Del Monaco, Franco Corelli Giuseppe Di Stefano, Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Josè Carreras and many others. This is the first part of her fascinating story.
