Populist and nationalist parties response to immigration in Europe remains the same: it is a clear no.


The 2018 Swedish parliamentary elections showed on Sunday night that although the final result sees a centre-left still ahead on the centre-right, the far-right SD party led by young leader Jimmie Akesson, won 17.7 per cent in the general election, which is 4,7 points more than in 2014. We talked about the result in Sweden and the general situation in Europe with Matteo Villa, ISPI Research Fellow contributing specifically to the ISPI Migration Programme.
