Five days after the docking at the port of Catania, the 143 migrants on board of the Italian ship Diciotti were allowed to disembark. Several of them have temporarily been accepted by the Italian Church, while others could be transferred to Ireland or even outside of Europe: Albania would have accepted 20 people.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Matteo Salvini is investigated together with his chief of staff Matteo Piantedosi by the Prosecutor of Agrigento. They will have to respond to kidnapping, illegal arrest and abuse of office but Salvini said: "I only did my job and I do not want immunity, I'm not afraid of being tried".

We talked about these topics with the journalist Carlo Fusi.
