Allira Hanczakowski fell in love with the Italian language when touring Europe with the Australian roller skating national team.

Allira has an Aboriginal name, a Polish granfather and an Ukrainian grandmother from her father's side. Her maternal side is English, with no Italian connections. While competing for Australia on the roller skating international circuit though, she fell in love with the Italian language.

After twelve visits, she now masters the language and studies Italian at University.
