Ayman Barbaresco was born on the 14th of February 1989 in Sydney, a city that he does not particularly love because for him it represents the place of illness.

The article is available in Italian.

Ayman was born with neurofibromatosis, and when he was three years old doctors told his mother that he only had the 20% chance to survive. Today he is 29 years old. Born from an Italian mother and a Jordanian father, Ayman decided to take his mother's surname when he turned 18: he feels much more Italian than Australian.
