This week, our segment on the new Italian immigration to Australia features Luigi Petrucci, a 37-year-old native of Ischia, the largest island in the Gulf of Naples. Compared to the Italians we regularly interview in this segment, Luigi has an ace up his sleeve, because thanks to his New Zealand-born mother he holds a passport that helped him avoid many of the hurdles one usually faces to stay in Australia permanently.
