The annual gathering of Pontida saw this year thousands of participants from all over Italy.
"Let's reassure our friends, we will be in charge for 30 years". With these words League leader, Matteo Salvini, saluted his people gathered at Pontida. The Minister of the Interior launched his international political project of "a League of Leagues that brings together all the free, sovereign movements" of Europe. Carroccio has never been so strong in Italy, with preferences of over 30%. Hence Salvini's promise. Yet the output of Pontida 2018, gives a very different image of the party compared to that of the origins. We asked our listeners: does the new League have the potential to last for the next 30 years? How do you see the latest changes into Italian politics?
