Senior Lecturer in Politics and Public Policy at Flinders University Rodrigo Praino has won the 2018 South Australian Young Tall Poppy Science Award.

His research focus on how voters chose their candidate in a "low-information context": what happened when we cast a ballot but don't have any clue about who is running for election?
