Classical Latin and Greek are known as dead languages, but their study is still considered central to the influence they have on our thinking.

We talked about it with Gaetana Pellegrini, a Greek teacher at the Victorian School of Languages in Melbourne, but also a musician and a singer. On Wednesday the 24th of October, at 6.30 pm at the Multicultural Hub in Melbourne, the Victorian School of Languages will launch the completion of the first ever Australian Distance Education course for Classical Greek for secondary students. For more information on the event, visit www.vsl.vic.edu.au
