Tomorrow afternoon (saturday at 16:30) the Dame Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation Bel Canto Award e l'Elizabeth Connell Prize will be held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
The events are organised by a committee headed by mezzo-soprano Fiona Janes, Artistic Director, General Manager and Board Member of the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Foundation and Manager and Trustee of Elizabeth Connell Prize, the only international opera competition held in Australia. Prizes for the two events amount to over $150 thousand.
Australian legend, conductor Richard Bonynge will be the head judge.
