Matteo, 8 years old, arrived in Australia with his mother and father two years ago. It is easier for him now to express himself in English rather than in Italian, even though he told us that: "Often I still think and dream in Italian". But mum, dad and even his grandparents from Italy, are working to ensure he doesn't lose his Italian with different strategies.
