Sabina Sestigiani was given with an Australian Award for University Teaching for creating an engaging approach to Italian Studies using theatrical performance and drama activities.

Students of Intermediate Italian B at Swinburne University have produced the Italian play L’inserzione by Natalia Ginzburg and will be performing on Monday 23 October at 4:30pm at the Basement at the Hawthorn Arts Centre in Burwood Road.

The play narrates the story of two women who become friends thanks to a newspaper advertisement for a room to let. Their friendship is rocked by the sudden appearance of the ex-husband of one of the two women.
