きっかけは「謎」への好奇心、ポーランドから勲章

シドニー在住の岡上理穂さん。日本語でポーランドの歴史本を出版しました。

大学でロシア語を学んだ後、ポーランドに留学した岡上（おかがみ）理穂さん。1988年にポーランド人の夫と家族でオーストラリアに移住しました。

岡上さんは2019年、ポーランドと日本の国交樹立100周年を記念して「中欧の不死鳥 ポーランド不屈の千年史」を日本語で出版しました。昨年にはその功績が認められ、ポーランド政府から、クロス・オブ・メリットの勲章の中で最も位の高い、ゴールデン・クロス・オブ・メリット勲章を受けました。

ポーランド政府からの叙勲を受けた岡上さん。インタビューでは、ポーランドでの留学生活や、本の執筆のきっかけなどについてお話しを聞きました。
