Georgia Godwin is an artistic gymnast from Southport, Queensland.
Born to a Japanese mother and an Australian father, Godwin started gymnastics when she was three years old.
Godwin was a very active child, full of energy, who participated in many activities, not just gymnastics, like tennis and karate.
But the young Godwin was attracted to gymnastics's challenging nature and says it is still the reason she continues the sport.

The 26-year-old has kept her game in the elite sport, winning numerous medals at the Commonwealth Games and the World Championships and fulfilling her long-time dream of competing in the Olympics in Tokyo.
Last year, Godwin had a gymnastic move named after herself. She was also the key member of the Australian WAG team to qualify for the Paris Games.
She has proven that age is just a number, and with passion, anything is possible with the sport.
