2021 Census to record the nation in the grip of a global pandemic

This year's Census will be especially significant because it will give a snapshot of the nation in the grip of a global pandemic.

The results are expected to look quite different as Australia experiences its lowest levels of migration in years.

Experts say the results gathered from this year's Census will be crucial in tracking changing migration patterns and taking a snapshot of the current  population.

They're asking everyone to take part and ensure their communities are represented in the next results.
