After surviving Hiroshima, Teri has been connecting Japan and Australia from the sky and the ground

Teri Teramoto, a former Qantas employee and wine educator based in Sydney, was six years old when she was exposed to the atomic bomb in Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. Despite having been diagnosed with cancer on several occasions, she has continued to take on new challenges and has been actively involved in fostering ties between Japan and Australia, including serving as a board member of the Australia-Japan Society of New South Wales since 2009.
