Outgoing Qantas CEO Alan Joyce has been pulled before a cost of living committee for the first time in almost a decade to confront questions around fares, corporate bonuses and covid cash grabs. He has fended off criticism of the airline's profit and concerns over high ticket prices, saying he expects international fares to fall next year.
