Yukino's appointment is the third in Australia following the appointments of Sydney chef Tetsuya Wakuda in 2007 and sake ambassador Andre Bishop in 2013 and is the very first female appointment in Australia.

Yukino established Deja vu Sake Co, now a leading sake importer in Australia five years ago with her Australian husband Andrew Cameron. Yukino also teaches about sake as the first Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certified sake educator in Australia. 

Yukino is passionate about getting sake to the table at everyone’s home. She is collaborating with Nihonshu Australia Association and Bottle Shop Concepts and will hold their first consumer sake event, Sake Matsuri (festival), in Sydney on the 28^th of October.
