Tatsuo Miyajima, one of Japans leading contemporary artists, has his first major exhibition in Australia at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. He is known by his technologically driven sculptures and installations and is best known for his work called Mega Death, a room-scale installation of blue LEDs. Miyajima says contemporary art is for everyone and appreciating it is actually simple just like meeting new people, which we do every day. He suggests that we go out to meet art and start building relationships with the ones we like. The exhibition is open until the 5th of March, 2017.
