In the 1950s, when anti-Japanese sentiment was running high in the wake of the war, the Glynn brothers—both Australian priests—travelled to Japan and devoted themselves to fostering reconciliation between Japan and Australia. A memorial service for the younger brother, Father Paul Green, who passed away in January this year, was held in Sydney on 9 August. We spoke to some of those who attended.
