Golden wattle seeds back to Australia from the space station

Golden wattle seeds in International Space Station for 6 months returned to Australia recentry. The seeds are distributed to more than 300 Australian locations such as Caulfield Primary School for planting. As they grow, the wattles are scientifically observed and compared with those stayed on the earth. .


The program is collaborated between Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and One Giant Leap Australia Foundation and supported by the Australian Space Agency.
