Atsushi Abe, a Japanese voice actor best known for his role as Toma Kamijo in the A Certain Magical Index, visited Sydney for the first time to attend the Sydney Manga and Anime Show (SMASH!) as a guest.
Atsushi has played a wide variety of characters and he thinks that giving the audience a surprise by showing his different side through many characters is one of the best parts of being a voice actor.
In the audio, Atsushi talks about the characters he has played so far and tells us what kind of characters he would like to play in the future. Atsushi reveals that he would have become a nurse or a childcare worker if he didn't succeed as a voice actor. He explains why.
