Wahaha no Kai is part of a Japanese community group called Wahaha Brisbane.

In Japanese, Wahaha means the sounds of laughter with one's mouth wide open.  The rough translation of Wahaha no Kai is the society of loud laughters.

Wahaha Brisbane was started by two local Japanese women, Ms Hiromi Ogata and Ms Ayako Takada.  Ms Ogata and Ms Takada hit it off and decided to start a new place where people can socialize in a Japanese-speaking environment.

In the audio, Ms Takada and two senior volunteers, Ms Yuri Furuno and Mr Kota Imura, tell us how they got involved in the group and how much they enjoy it.
