Rokusaburo Michiba, most notable as the first Japanese Iron Chef on the television series Iron Chef, has come to Sydney to attend a special event Iron Chef All Stars Sydney at Sydney Opera House.


Mr. Michiba is turning 87 years old soon but his passion towards Japanese cuisine keeps growing. He tells us he does not hesitate to try and introduce non-Japanese ingredients to his cooking and as a Japanese cuisine chef, he always takes the local seasonality into account and uses local ingredients in season, wherever he is.
