A Japanese language school is holding online seminars on how to make the society more multicultural.

The Intercultural Institute of Japan, a Japanese language school in Japan, is holding five different online seminars on how to live together with non-Japanese residents and how to enhance multiculturalism in the society.

The seminars are commissioned by the Agency of Cultural Affairs in Japan.

One of the seminars will be held by the ICLC Japanese Language School, a Japanese language school in Okinawa, Japan.  The seminar will focus on the Nikkei who call Okinawa home.

In the audio, Mr Hiroyuki Kinjo, president and CEO of the ICLC Japanese Language School, tells us about the Nikkei who live in Okinawa and the workshop in March.

Nikkei means Japanese emigrants and their descendants.
