“Mother of Yoga” Yogmata Keiko Aikawa talks about meditation and her recent trip to India

June 21 is International Day of Yoga. Keiko Aikawa received the honourific title of “yogmata”, meaning “mother of yoga”, from the Indian government. Ms Aikawa has also given speeches at the United Nations and is greatly respected in India and other countries as the first woman to reach the ultimate state of enlightenment, samadhi.
