In the exhibition, Shingo Ishikawa appears digitally and talks about the platform shoes worn in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. And if you have a smartphone, you can listen to it in seven languages.


National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) in Canberra is now holding a new exhibition at their new art space called HIVE. 

The main feature of the exhibition is Storywall, where six NFSA staff have been selected to pick one item from their collection and talk about it in a video.  Shingo was selected as one of the six staff and he chose the platform shoes worn in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.  For smartphone users, Storywall is availabe in seven languages including Japanese.

In the interview, Shingo tells about his job as conservator for NFSA and about the exhibition.
