New South Wales is set to be a key battleground for the Coalition and the Labor Party in the upcoming election. The seat of Reid takes in a number of suburbs in Sydney's inner-west. It's a diverse electorate, and it's no surprise voters say the cost of living is a key concern for them.

The cost of living has become a major election issue across the country.

During the pandemic, Sydney was virtually split in half by lockdowns.

The electorate of Reid was the same, with some suburbs placed under lockdowns while others were not.

The electorate of Reid is one of the most diverse in the country.

Over 56 per cent of people were born overseas, compared to the rest of the country which averages 33 per cent born overseas.

A higher proportion of residents in this electorate than the national average pay at least 30 per cent of their income on rent.
