Yuji Nagata, a Japanese pro-wrestler who is turning 50 this year, is participating in the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW)‘s first Australia Tour staring from the 16th of February.
Yuji was a keen wrestler when he was at university. In 1992, he joined NJPW and became a professional wrestler. Yuji says that pro-wrestling is tough and full of pain but he thinks that as long as he can find some joy in the hard life just 10 percent of the time, then that is enough for him to keep going.
Yuji tells us what makes NJPW so entertaining and how he aims to perform well in the matches as long as possible.
NJPW is visiting Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
