Rising cost of living leaves minimum wage workers unable to afford essentials

New research has found a full-time Australian worker on minimum wage has just $57 left after essential weekly expenses.


The findings are included in the first Living Costs Index compiled by charity Anglicare Australia, which shows housing is the biggest cost faced by Australians on the lowest incomes.
