He received three awards including Male Artist of the Year, Top Selling Album of the Year and Vocal Collaboration of the Year, during the 50th Golden Guitar Awards, as part of the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival, at Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre in Tamworth, Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
He has taken over Slim Dusty and Lee Kernaghan for most Golden Guitars won, now counting 40.
