Tetsuya Sugihara, a relative of the late Mr. Chiune Sugihara who issued visas for Jewish refugees during WWII and was sometimes called the Japanese Schindler visited Sydney to attend a ceremony to celebrate the renewal of the Sydney Jewish Museum and see a one-man play performed by a Japanese actor Shingo Misawa who plays the role of the late Mr. Sugihara. In the interview, Tetsuya shares his memories of the late Mr. Sugihara and tells us about his volunteer activities in Sri Lanka. Tetsuya says we can all do something to help people in need, like the late Mr. Sugihara did by issuing visas.
