Scammers are reaching out everyday Australians. Recently there were cases that scammers use threat to arrest them.
A voice message was left on SBS staff's mobile this week. The number starts from 02, which seems to be a call from Sydney. She listened to the message, which was pre-recorded, computer-generated voice with American accent. The message was about her getting a lawsuit and may face arrest if she doesn't call back.
This is a typical scam calls that Australians are receiving in recent months.
