Akio Suzuki is a pioneer of Japanese sound artists. He is in his 80s and has been appearing on stage around the world for more than 40 years. Hiromi Miyakita is a Japanese dancer and artist. Both of them were invited to perform in Sydney last month.

Mr Suzuki and Ms Miyakita were invited to perform for the Volume festival at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in October 2023.
