At Martin Place, the Westpac Lunar Lantern Hub will feature a 50m canopy of red lanterns, food, drink, The Star Fortune Mahjong Garden and nightly DJ and entertainment.
On Saturday 4th February, MyChonny & Joe hit the stage in a whirlwind of laughs, prizes and karaoke! They’ll be joined onstage by Andy Trieu for the biggest k-pop karaoke Australia has ever seen - 'Massaoke'.

Georges River Council will welcome the Year of the Rooster with a number of events across the 15 day period.
This event will feature the traditional Lion Dance, entertainment, food stalls, giveaways and festival atmosphere.

WHAT: Sydney Vietnamese New Year VCA TET Festival 2017

Organised by the Vietnamese Community in Australia (VCA) and welcoming the Year of the Rooster, the Tet Festival at Fairfield showground is the biggest Vietnamese community event in NSW. This year things will get even bigger with a Guinness World Record attempt where gathering the largest number of people wearing a non la (conical hat) in one place
The cultural festivities will also feature the a pho eating competition, God of Fortune, Lion Dancing and loads of exciting entertainment for the whole family.

In its 21st year of the festival in Sydney will celebrate with lion dances, community dance performances and live music.

The grand celebration program will kick off officially at 11am and this continue until 4pm. There will be road closure (part of Rowe Street) from 6am to 4pm.
There were two stages for performance that will include various performances; dragon and lion dance performance, and lighting of fire crackers.

Come and join in the festivities of the 2017 TET Lunar New Year Festival, now held at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
Hosted by the Vietnamese Community in Victoria, over 40,000 visitors have joined festival organisers each year to usher in the 2017 Lunar New Year.
During the festival celebrations, there are a number of food stalls which cater to guests throughout the two-day weekend event.
You will find an array of delicious traditional Vietnamese foods and with so much on offer, you won’t have any trouble finding your favourite dish.

WHAT: Chung Tian Temple Chinese New Year Celebrations

The SBS Broadcast Van will be at the temple for the first of three days of celebrations across the weekend. Chung Tian Temple will ring in the New Year - quite literally, with a ringing of the blessing bell at midnight after a New Years Eve event featuring a food fair and cultural performances, an opening ceremony for the accompanying art exhibition, Lion Dance and CNY Morning chanting (in Mandarin).
