NSW Opposition calls on NSW Premier to announce the time table for the reopening of worship places

NSW Labor has called on the NSW Government to provide a clear timetable for places of worship to reopen with COVID-safe requirements.

The opposition leader says NSW is the only Australian State and Territory hasn't provided the updated information for places of worship. 

It will be allowed to have up to 20 people at places of worship from June 1 in Victoria and from June 12 in Queensland.

The opposition party questions if pubs and clubs in NSW can have up to 50 people, why not churches, mosques, synagogues or temples.

The opposition believes the clear timetable for places of worship will provide a great solace to many people of faith who incredibly sacrificed in recent difficult months.
People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others. Check your state’s restrictions on gathering limits. Testing for coronavirus is now widely available across Australia.
