50 Years On: The Kurdish Community in Australia

Mr Riza Colpan has lived in Australia for nearly fifty years, having arrived from Turkey in early 1970 under a 1967 agreement between Australia and Turkey. He is among the first Kurds from Northern Kurdistan (Turkey) to settle in the country. We spoke with him about his reflections and his involvement in the Kurdish community in Sydney.
