'Australia makes dreams come true'

Two years ago, we had a conversation with a young Ezidi who was living in a refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He expressed a strong interest in photography. Rami Alali has been relocated to Armidale, in regional NSW. We reached out to him to inquire whether he had achieved his dream of owning a camera since his arrival in Australia. Rami told us he had indeed fulfilled his aspiration and currently enrolled at TAFE to improve his English language, enabling him to pursue a career in photography.
