Roka Sheddo fled the war in Syria to Germany 11 years ago. She is speaking to us about the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, its importance and how it is observed in Kurdish society and the diaspora. She explains the situation of women—especially Kurdish women—in a European society within the framework of cultural perspectives, rights foundations and educational assistance.
