They say a picture can tell a thousands words, this is certainly what one can experience observing the art works of Delawer Omar. Kurdish artist and painter Delawer Omar was born in west Kurdistan (Syria), and has been living in Switzerland for nearly 20 years. Most of his work express the bitterness and the pain of war and conflict, and hopes of love, peace and freedom. His painting not only capture images or movements, but through them Delawer is able to express high emotions, which is certainly felt by its audience.
