European Union to Observe Iraq's parliamentary elections

In response to a call from the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq, the European Union has decided to deploy an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to monitor the legislative elections scheduled to take place in Iraq on 10 October. The EU has appointed Violavon Cramon, more in Ahmad Ghafur's report.
